| BIO MOLECULES AMPLIFICATION & DETECTION | Gene Expression Identification, DNA amplification, primer designing, master mix preparation, DNA detection, Agarose Gel electrophoresis preparation, gel casting, gel running, Band Visualization under UV. Conducted on MASTER CYCLER - EPPENDORFF UNIT - MASTER PRO (Capability - Conventional, Reverse Trasncriptase & Real Time). This is a training module and hence students must come to the Lab, the protocols and assessments along with background literature shall be accessed via student myRass Account. | NON PATHOGENIC MICROBIAL CULTURING | Yeast Isolation from curd or juice sample, media preparation, autoaclaving of glasswares and Media, Spread Plate Method practice, Incubator setup, Incubation, Yeast Colony Detection, Colony Isolation. | POTENT IMMUNE SYSTEM CELLS DETECTION | Slide preparations, Microscope Setup, Identification of Immue systems related cells in your own blood sample. Students who wish to have a career in Medical field or Pahtology should opt for this course. Instruments used is Sartarious Microscope - With screen, 10, 30, 40X resolution with video and snap shot capability. Student must be present in the Lab to conduct this. | ESTIMATION OF WATER TOXICITY | This is a Biochemistry based training module, water sampling, Biophotometer setup, serial dilutions, standard preparation, sample separation by centrifugation, blank quantification. Instrument used - Biophotometer (UV-Vis 200-650nm), with UV cuvettes. *Estimations by Biophotometer are: ds DNA. ssDNA. Oligo DNA. ss RNA. Oligo RNA. Bradford Assay. Micro Bradford Assay. BCA Method.
